Literally: “speaking from my point of view”
It means “for me,” “as far as I’m concerned,” or “in my opinion.”
It’s used when expressing your personal feelings, preferences, or opinions — very natural and polite in daily Mandarin.
Structure
对 + person + 来说 + (opinion / statement)
Examples:
- 对我来说 (duì wǒ lái shuō) – for me
- 对你来说 (duì nǐ lái shuō) – for you
- 对他来说 (duì tā lái shuō) – for him
- 对我们来说 (duì wǒ men lái shuō) – for us
